Between Scales is an authorial photographic project that explores the relationship between human constructions and astronomical scale, positioning the built environment as a point of tension between terrestrial presence and cosmic vastness.

Through nocturnal landscape photography, the project investigates how architecture, territory, and sky coexist within the same visual field, confronting human measure with dimensions that exceed it.

By placing structures, landmarks, and traces of human intervention in dialogue with the night sky, the project reveals a fragile equilibrium between permanence and insignificance.

The images do not seek to monumentalize the built, but rather to situate it within broader temporal and spatial regimes, where human presence appears provisional, suspended, and subject to forces beyond control.

Between Scales proposes a shift in perception: from an anthropocentric reading of space to an awareness of scale as a relational condition. Photography operates here as a device of mediation, allowing the viewer to inhabit the interval between what is constructed and what is immeasurable, between the grounded and the infinite.
